Still Greedy
The South London singer and rapper was introduced to hip - hop music by his older brother, listening to the likes of DMX, 50 Cent and Method man, and after listening to these iconic artists Greedy started perfecting his free-styling ability.
After spending some time out in Ghana with his Mum and Dad, Greedy wrote and performed his first song in 2007 whilst only in year 8. The song was entitled “Nursery Days” and was a story about his young life. The song was a hit for young Greedy in school and amongst his peers. In 2011 Greedy went on to release his first music video “Money I need” and that proved a big hit with his musical peers.
Fast forward to 2019, off the back of his mixtape, he met the Dice Recordings CEO’s (Kevin and Nathan). They saw the talent and he signed to Dice Recordings, adding the “Still” to Greedy, showing his desire to continue to want more.
Still Greedy released his debut Single “On My Own” which became a solid club banger and was premiered on Radio 1xtra on The Kenny Allstar Show and was supported across the urban music scene. "Still Greedy always comes through with the wavey melodies, I've been supporting him from day one” – Kenny Allstar
His debut EP MelodicWave came next with features from Big Narstie and Mari Mac, MelodicWave was designed to have you moving from start to end and proved to again build Still Greedy further. Still Greedy best describes his music as “Wavey music that will make you move, motivate you and hold a positive vibe.
2020, shows Still Greedy releasing song after song. This year alone we have had some great music with a killer track with his fellow label mate Big Narstie which is a great take on the Michael Jackson classic “Smooth Criminal”.
